Gospel Soul Nights is a monthly live gospel show that premiers this February, organized and hosted by the charismatic and energetic contemporary gospel artist, Joel Chiweda.
It is an environment for gospel music lovers and the church community to enjoy top class music, spoken word, dance and so much more, beyond denominational boundaries and in a godly space.
With a great line up for each event comprising various local artists, fans can expect to have a great experience in music, dance and spoken word.
“We have created a very intimate set up that allows the audience to enjoy each other’s company while plugged into a performance. Its a great space to wind down after a long week or rather month with refreshments served by the Utano Restaurant.” Says the passionate founder Joel Chiweda
“Our inspiration was the need to create a platform for gospel artists to showcase their talent and get to network with other artists as well as create a fan base. We have more Secular events than we do gospel ones and this stifles the gifts while waiting on annual gospel events. You can only perfect what you keep doing, thus the Gospel Soul Nights creates the platform for that artist that’s got something to show.” he adds
The idea behind it is also to create an environment where the Christian community, can fulfill their social needs of going out and having a great time in a comfortable space that doesn’t trip over their belief structures, a place where its comfortable to have a great time with your loved ones, your family and friends. With the list of performances no one is left out, both young and old.
Joel says they are definitely looking to grow it into a bigger outdoor event, where people can hangout on a stretched out lawn with family, friends, much food and drink with more music and energetic performances from artist local, regional and even international.
With consistent delivery being their primary aim they hope to have it aired the our local station and even on DSTV as the brand grows.
At the very first ever Gospel Soul Nights, artists such as Tammy Moyo, Kim Mabika(Afro Poetic Mind) Trust Makurumure (Jeldous) the founder himself (Joel Chiweda) and a few more will be performing.
It’s an exciting event and we are certain it’s going to be awesome! This is the beginning of more things to come
