To Watch

This week we have a sermon on fear and faith by Bishop T. D. Jakes. He talks about how fear doesn’t automatically disappear when we profess our faith but that we have to walk in faith even when we feel fear. I hope you enjoy it!

To Listen

Json – Trust you f.t Julianna Zobrist

This song is from one of my favourite Json albums – Braille. It talks about the relationship between love and trust. That if we love God then we ought to trust Him. He is worthy of our trust.

To Read

Why We Can Trust Him – by Trillia Newbell

In this week’s reading Trillia shows us the reason why our God is trust worthy. Not only in a rhetorical ‘Trust God’ sense but in a real logical way. God has indeed proven Himself over and over again in our lives so we have ample reason to trust Him in everything. I hope you enjoy the read.

To Do

Dive

Fear and doubt are very real things. As humans living in a fallen world we feel these emotions so often. However, one of the key things about faith is that we must trust God and believe that what He says is true and right. No matter what it looks like He always has our best interests at heart. So if we are pleased in Him we must have faith in Him and His word.

This week I want to encourage you to trust what God tells you enough to do it when He tells you to do it. Don’t hesitate. Don’t procrastinate. Don’t overthink it. Don’t look for evidence first in what you can see. Don’t stress about the circumstances or what it looks like. When He tells you to dive – DIVE.

Bible Verse

1 Samuel 15:22 ESV

Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.
