To Do
Glean from The Old
As the times move and culture shifts, I find that a lot of people are neglecting the wisdom of old. We now think that a lot of things are now outdated and cannot help us or guide us. I think this view of the world is dangerous. God works according to principles and principles do not change with time. The wisest man to ever live, King Solom, reminds us of this when he says “What was done is what will continue being done. There is nothing new under the sun”(Ecclesiastes 1:9). In light of this I would like to encourage you this week to start leaning into the wisdom of the older generations. Study their teachings, ask questions, and learn from them. Glean from the white old heads.
Bible Verse
