Study the Prophecies
A huge chunk of the bible is made up of the history and writings of the prophets. Some of them prophesied of things that have already happened for example the coming of the messiah and how he will save the world. These prophecies are very important because they help us understand the story of salvation. Today, however, I would like you to consider the other kind of prophecies. The ones that have not yet been fulfilled. I find that most people, including me, tend to shy away from them because of their complexity and the controversy that surrounds them. However, I discovered that understanding the prophecies of the future can be very beneficial to the believer. Not only do they help us to understand the times we live in but they also help us to prepare ourselves for what is to come. This allows us to be prepared for the move of God in the various seasons that he has set. So, I encourage you this week to start looking into the plans of God for the future of this world and the new one to come. Study books like Daniel, Joel, and revelations. Pray to God to reveal this secret to you and He will.
