Speak to yourself.
Life can get hard sometimes and in those moments it’s easy to feel hopeless. It’s easy to feel like things will never change. I want to encourage you this week to do what king David would do whenever he found himself in a space like this. I want to encourage you to speak to yourself. Preach the truth of God to yourself. That’s exactly how David dealt with feelings of hopelessness. He spoke to himself and reminded his heart to trust and hope in the God of his salvation. Develop this habit of encouraging yourself in the Lord and you will have a formidable weapon to use when the devil tries to steal your joy.
