To Do: Stay Focused

A good way to maintain a Christian life is to remain focused. On what, you might ask? On the final goal; the end destination.

Life does not end here; there is more that comes after. For some it will be more life, for others it will be more condemnation but it is your actions in the present that will affect that future.

If you take time to think about how your actions, decisions and habits might affect your eternity, you will think twice about what you do. Whether it is something you think is small or something big.

So stay focused on your future and ask God to help you maintain your position in Him.

Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV)

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

In the verse above, the Apostle Paul encourages all Christians to remain firm in our faith and to continually do the work of God. It’s true that there are times that it will feel as if it would be easier not to. There would be less rejection, less ridicule, quick acceptance from people. But all your labour is not in vain.

In the end you will be rewarded by your Heavenly Father for being a good and faithful servant. So have courage and continue believing in Christ and living a life that is holy and pleasing to God.
