To Do: Surrender to God

If you want to become better at overcoming disappointment and unmet expectations, you must learn to surrender all control. The thought of doing that may be frightening, but you can trust the Person you give control to – God.

You can trust the Lord to lead you in a new and better path. You can trust Him to open new doors. You can trust Him to take care of you.

You just have to let go and let Him lead you. Don’t run ahead of Him but walk with Him and know that whatever it may look like now, the Lord will make all things beautiful in good time.

Bible Verse: Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.

As you pray and ask the Lord for counsel, He can turn around even the worst of situations and make it work for your good. That is the promise made in this verse for all those who love God, and are called according to His purpose.

So when you face disappointment, pray and ask the Lord to help you see the other side and walk with Him as He shows you His new plan and purpose. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
