To Listen: King of Kings by Chandler Moore

“King of Kings” is a beautiful song that tells us the miraculous and amazing story of the Gospel; how God came to give us life and light through the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus.

This song also helps us know more about God as it reveals to us God’s triune nature as Chandler Moore sings praise to God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. It also reminds us of who God is – the King of Kings.

To Do: Seek God

God desires for each of us to draw closer to Him. He wants us to know more about Him. That’s why He has made Himself easy to find. (Acts 17:27-28; Deuteronomy 30:11-14) It’s now up to you to seek Him, and to do so with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)

When you seek God and really desire to find Him, you will. And the best place to search is through prayer and in the Bible. The entire Book tells you about who God is; His character, what He thinks of you and what He plans to do in your life and in the lives of everyone on the Earth. As you read it you will begin to know more about God and be able to draw closer to Him.

Bible Verse: Isaiah 44:6 (ESV)

Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel

And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts;

“I am the first and I am the last;

Besides me there is no god

God is our King and Redeemer; He is Lord above all the hosts of heaven. He has always existed and will always exist. And He is the only God.

That is what this verse makes very clear to us. This is the God we Christians serve, love and the One we call our Father. As you meditate on this verse, ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand more about God and give you revelation about all the ways that you can know Him better.
