It’s all very well talking about surrender but it’s another thing actually doing it. Sometimes you can be afraid to surrender. Other times you might not even know how to surrender. Or maybe you desperately want to but find you are somehow being hindered from doing so.
Whatever the case may be, the best way to tackle your issues with surrendering is through prayer. As is the case in all things, God desires and is willing to help you. So ask Him for help.
Ask Him to reveal what is hindering you from surrendering to Him. Let Him know you desire to surrender but do not know how. Ask Him to give you the strength to.
When you pray to God He will answer. He will provide you with the ability and freedom to do what you may feel is impossible

Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
Surrender is often described as letting go of control. But it is also committing and entrusting something to God.
When you commit something to God you choose to give it to God and approach it in God’s way. When you entrust something to God, you trust Him to take care of it, including all the problems and details.
You can commit and entrust your life, your dreams, your hopes and your plans to God. When you do this, you do not need to be worried or fearful about anything because God is in control.
So if you are finding it hard to surrender to God, meditate on this verse, let it calm you and remind you that when God is in charge He will work all things out for you.
