To Do: Pray For Guidance

As in everything, when pursuing godly relationships it is always a great idea to pray for guidance. You don’t have to rely on your own wits and charm to secure good relationships. You just have to rely on God.

If you haven’t already, consider purposefully praying for God to place godly people in your life. Ask Him to put godly people in your path that will encourage you; people that will share His truth with you and be a positive influence in your life.

Then watch what happens.

Bible Verse: Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

As this verse reveals, if you are a Christian, seeking God and His kingdom should be of the highest priority in your life. When you put God first in your life, everything else will fall into its proper place. Not just in terms of bodily or financial provision but everything, including relationships.

So as you ponder on this verse, be reminded to seek God first as He is your Father and closest Friend.
