To Watch: When God Doesn’t Make Your Dream Come True by Steven Furtick

Steven Furtick says: Many of us are standing in the middle of our dream but we don’t know it because it feels different than we thought it would when we first saw it.

This may be true for you. Maybe you are frustrated, confused or disappointed because your dream isn’t turning out how you imagined? If that’s the case, watch this.

A sermon excerpt from “The Danger of a Dream”, this video will help you figure out how to move forward when you are discouraged by your dream, be open to revision and how to fulfill God’s true purpose for you.

A song about expectation and the joy of having your hope fulfilled, “There is a Cloud” is a great song to listen to as you pursue your God-given dream.

Not only does it assure you that every buried seed will be “called forth in its time,” but also that all God has spoken to you “will come to pass.”

If you’re need of encouragement, listen to this.

To Do: Consult God

As a Christian, you are supposed to involve God in everything and that includes pursuing your dreams. After all, God is the one who gives them to you. Instead of running ahead and trying to fulfill your God-given dream alone, consult God.

Ask Him for instruction on how to fulfill the dream, ask Him for a vision and ask Him if you are still in line with His plans for you.

If you do this, you will stay on the right path and your dream will truly bring glory to God.

Bible Verse: Genesis 26:3 (NKJV)

Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.

Often we mistake being successful for being where we think is best. Where we see the grass is greener. But what this verse reveals is that success and indeed prosperity come from position ourselves where God wants us to be.

This is so important to remember as you pursue your God-given dream. Do what God wants you to do and be where He wants you to be. Essentially, seek His will and not yours.

As you meditate on this verse, may God reveal ways you can surrender and lean into His plan for you.
