To Do
Get a mentor: Be a mentor
It’s is not a a secret that as young men and women there is so much we don’t know yet about life. Often, a lot of us let the foolishness of youth get the better of us because we believe that this is time to experiment with everything and do what we want. It may be true that this is the time we have a lot freedom and energy to peruse things, but wisdom would say that we must put our energy to good use instead of just wasting it away.
The best way to make sure that we use our youthful days wisely is by learning from older people who have gone through it before us. They have more experience and they have much to teach. So many mistakes can be avoided by learning from the mistakes of others. We don’t have to step into ditches that avoidable. So, if you want grow and get wiser find a mentor who is rooted in the faith that can impart wisdom in your life. If you want to get better at what you do find someone who is doing it successfully and learn from them.
As for those who are now at a much-advanced stage in life, my advice is, don’t waste all your wisdom and experience. Impart it to the next generation. Teach others what you have learned both the things you have done well and your mistakes, so the younger generation can avoid going down the same pits. No matter what stage you are there is always someone younger or less experienced who needs your help. Don’t go to the grave with the gifts that God have given you, impart them to other.
Bible Verse
John 14:27 ESV
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

If peace is what you seek look no further than Jesus. His peace is different from that which the world gives. His peace is the kind that can’t be taken away by anything. Even during trials or pain its present. He is present always.
